Percepto’s Waiver Allows Customers to Fly BVLOS on Qualified Sites Across the Country, with Central Control

Leading automated inspection and monitoring solution provider Percept announced that it has been granted a nationwide Beyond Line of Sight (BVLOS) exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The first-of-its-kind approval will allow US-based Percepto customers to remotely control drones if their sites meet all exemption criteria. The new waiver allows the Percepto system to be operated remotely at eligible sites nationwide, eliminating the need to wait for site-specific BVLOS approvals, improving safety, effectiveness and ease of use. Percepto customers can receive immediate actionable insights via her Percepto drone-in-a-box for inspection and surveillance. Additionally, Percepto provides the ability to centrally manage drone-in-a-box fleets at multiple sites.
