military drone technology company red cat holdings announced that the Teal 2 military unmanned aerial vehicle is now available for purchase to government agencies through agencies of the United States government. GSA Advantage website. Potential customers will have access to Teal 2’s complete specifications, high resolution images, and government-specific pricing. 1.8GHz model and 2.4GHz model.
The Teal 2 recently received designation from the US Department of Defense (DoD) as a Blue UAS drone. The drones are a select group of government-approved drones described by the Department of Defense as “NDAA compliant, cybersecurity-safe-fly-validated, and capable of government purchase and operation.”
“Teal 2’s compact size, advanced technology and rugged design make it ideally suited to the needs of combatants, but its versatility has made it an early adopter customer for other federal agencies, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection,” said Jeff Hitchcock, Senior Vice President, Global Defense Solutions, Red Cat. “We are proud to sell Teal 2 directly to all US government agencies through GSA Advantage.”
Teal 2 is the first sUAS to feature Teledyne FLIR’s new Hadron 640R sensor, offering end users the highest resolution thermal imaging in a small (Group 1) form factor optimized for night operations. Additional technology partners for Teal 2 include Athena AI, Reveal Technology and Tomahawk Robotics.
Teal 2 will be exhibited by Red Cat. Elevate UAV Summit It will be held in Miami from July 26th to 27th. Red Cat also announced that it will report year-end 2023 financial results for the 12 months ended April 30, 2023 on Thursday, July 27, 2023 after the market close. From the announcement:
