“Commercial drone pilots around the world are using the DJI platform to do their jobs safer and more effectively than with traditional technology,” said Christina Chan, senior director of corporate strategy at DJI. It’s great to see how they are doing.” “The new capabilities offered by the advanced technology of the M350 RTK will allow operators to push these boundaries even further,” she said.
The M350 RTK has a maximum flight time of 55 minutes and a payload capacity of 2.7kg. In addition, the new DJI O3 Enterprise Transmission offers triple-channel 1080p HD live feed and up to 20km transmission distance via a 4-antenna transceiver system. The system can determine which of her two antennas is best for transmitting the signal while all four antennas receive the signal at the same time.
The M350 RTK’s IP rating has been increased from IP45 to IP55, with a 6-way binocular vision system and an infrared sensing system for 6-way perception, positioning and obstacle sensing capabilities. The drone’s new armlock detection feature avoids the risk of the arm sleeve being unlocked. The M350 RTK also incorporates a multilayer redundant design in both the aircraft and sensor systems. In addition, the FPV camera has been enhanced for safe operation at night. A CSM radar can also be purchased separately and mounted on top of the drone, allowing a range of up to 30 meters over the slightest obstacle within a 360 degree detection range.
The drone comes with DJI RC Plus, which provides operators with a 7-inch high-brightness screen, dual operator mode options, and up to 6 hours of operating time on a standard WB37 external battery. It has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating and an operating temperature of -20° to 50°C (-4° to 122°F). There are buttons and dials on the front, back and top to customize button functions. The RC Plus app Pilot 2 increases efficiency with a wide range of options for managing your drone and projects.
Drone intelligent features further improve efficiency. AI spot checks can automate routine inspections and get consistent results. PinPoint can mark objects, calculate their coordinates and project them as AR icons in all camera views, especially useful in search and rescue operations.
The new TB65 battery in the M350 RTK has a 100% increase in battery cycle count and can be charged up to 400 cycles. The dual-battery system supports battery hot-swapping, allowing multiple flights without powering down.
The new BS65 Intelligent Battery Station features multiple charging modes and 360° movable wheels for convenient portability. When the Battery Station is connected to DJI RC Plus, the DJI Pilot 2 app will display battery status and health information. The user can also access setting self-discharge days, updating firmware, exporting logs and other quick operations with his one tap.
The M350 RTK supports single downward gimbal, dual downward gimbal, and single upward gimbal, and features an E-Port open interface. With a maximum payload capacity of 2.7 kg, you can carry up to 3 payloads at once for a wide range of jobs.
Users can further increase the versatility of the M350 RTK by using the DJI SDK and API ecosystem including Payload SDK, Mobile SDK and Cloud API.
