The Pelican is available in several model variants and can be customized for a wide range of missions. The Pelican does not require a special shipping box and can accept payloads of any shape with dimensions up to 400 x 300 x 300mm. The automatic payload release mechanism allows the box to be deposited without a human receiver and retrieves up to 5 kg of payload while hovering at a safe altitude. It also features an A2Z 4G link, universal payload hook, passive payload lock, tether abandon, A2Z ground control station, and an intuitive flight controller.
Starting at $29,000, the RDSX Pelican has different model variants suitable for different use cases. A2Z Drone Delivery can also fully customize drones for more specific applications. Variations available are the RDSX Pelican with Winch, RDSX Pelican Payload, and Custom RDSX Pelican. The company is currently accepting pre-orders on a first-come, first-served basis, with first deliveries expected in June 2023.
