The funding will support the deployment of infiniDome’s GPSdome2 to major defense forces such as the US Department of Defense, Israeli Defense Forces, South Korean Armed Forces (ROK Armed Forces), and Indian Armed Forces. This is his third investment in infiniDome by Honeywell Ventures, and Next Gear Ventures has supported the company since its seed round. Going forward, infiniDome will maintain partnerships with strategic investors through joint development of purpose-built solutions and global commercial agreements.
“We see great value in Hanwha’s investment and partnership with infiniDome. Synergies coupled with infiniDome’s innovative breakthroughs and key technologies and IP ensure a strong long-term strategic relationship.”Korea Israel Innovation Center (KIIC) is a member-tailored technology scout and We are honored to provide access to Israel’s innovative technology.Synergies and partnerships were immediately apparent to both parties and the process was short and efficient. We are committed to continuing to create value for our members. I look forward to
Kwangjin Kim, senior vice president of Hanwha Aerospace’s Navigation Systems Business Group, said: “We look forward to building advanced capabilities that enable our customers to stay ahead of emerging threats and challenges.”
Founded in 2016 by Omer Sharar (CEO), Moshe Kaplan (CTO), and Ehud Sharar (President and VP of Manufacturing), infiniDome is a GPS protection and technology platform built to protect UAVs and vehicles from jamming attacks. Create resilient navigation solutions. Currently innovating his GPS protection for UAVs for defense/HLS and plans to expand to offer drone protection. Recently expanded to his 26 employees, the infiniDome team leads the way in GNSS, RF, EW and UAV technology. The company was recently recognized as a finalist by AUVSI. AUVSI Excellence Award Its GPSdome2 technology category offers high-end protection for small to medium-sized platforms. infiniDome’s advanced GPS system protection solutions ensure reliable and continuous positioning and navigation data, even in the most challenging GNSS environments. With strategic partners, infiniDome develops solutions that combine data from multiple sensors such as anti-jamming modules, INS, radar technology, GPS integrity and attack monitoring tools, resulting in increased We offer a complete navigation resiliency solution for both.
GPS signals orbiting 20,000 km above the Earth’s surface are very weak and susceptible to jamming. Both manned ground vehicles and unmanned vehicles such as UAVs, UGVs, and USVs rely heavily on GPS for friendly military tracking, navigation, and autonomous flight. As such, GPS jamming attacks pose a significant risk to both operations and safety. As GPS jammers become more and more available, the integration of anti-jamming solutions is proving more necessary than ever. infiniDome’s market-leading anti-jamming solution meets stringent C-SWaP (cost, size, weight, and power) limits for mobile assets such as UAS/UAVs where size, weight, and power are critical, and bring an advantage. It’s not a big, heavy and expensive anti-jamming system.
Matt Picchetti, vice president of navigation and sensors at Honeywell Aerospace, said: “Honeywell was an early investor in infiniDome and has built a strong partnership through the joint development of resilient navigation solutions. We look forward to expanding this partnership to bring GNSS resilience to a wider range of use cases.”
“The defense market has been running BVLOS and autonomous UAV missions for quite some time, but the demand for smaller, lighter, and cheaper UAVs is increasing year by year,” said Omer Sharar. “Together with our partners Honeywell, and now Hanwha, to deliver solutions tailored to meet growing demand in the largest and fastest growing segments of Class 1-3 UAVs and heavy vehicles. It plans to disrupt this $4 billion anti-jamming market with its fleet.” A growing commercial UAV market (estimated at $30 billion by 2030) is just around the corner and will require at least the same level of protection, he said. , allowing secure integration into primarily private ecosystems.
infiniDome Funding
infiniDome has raised a total of $7 million to date, plus $1.5 million from the Israel Innovation Authority. With additional funding and support from his VentureIsrael, Kyto, Aston Partners, Pointman I and other investors in this round, infiniDome will deploy his GPSdome2 to meet future AAM (Advanced Aerial Mobility) requirements. You can design resilient navigation solutions created. It helps advance commercial regulations and improve the safety and security of critical operations around the world.
