Ben Levenson is the co-founder and CEO of Heven Drones. Heven Drones is a manufacturer of heavy-lift utility drones capable of solving a variety of commercial, infrastructure, humanitarian and military challenges. From automated last-mile deliveries to defense missions, emergency response, and infrastructure repair, our fully customizable drone solutions offer cutting-edge performance, patented stability, and superior lifting capabilities. With a team of experts with military, engineering and scientific backgrounds, the company has strategic partnerships with Plug Power and the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
In February, Heven Drones launched its first hydrogen-powered drone, the H2D55, for commercial use. The H2D55 is five times more energy efficient than conventional lithium-powered drones, and with a payload capacity of 15 pounds, he can fly for 100 minutes.
The launch of Heven Drones’ hydrogen product line addresses the flight endurance and payload capacity challenges associated with lithium battery-powered drones. Hydrogen-powered drones also reduce the long-term environmental impacts associated with lithium mining. Hydrogen fuel cells, which do not require frequent battery changes, also reduce the long-term cost of ownership for organizations implementing drone technology at scale.
In this episode of Drone Radio Show, Ben talks about the company’s revolutionary hydrogen drone, HevenDrones, and its promising future hydrogen propulsion system.
