The new Pixy S is precision engineered for mapping and survey missions, highly optimized for flight time, stability and accuracy.

The Pixy S is tailored for the Sony A7RIV. This is a 61 megapixel full-frame camera that provides the best image quality for mapping and inspection. The Pixy S fits and locks onto the camera body with an advanced ‘slide and lock’ mechanism, making setup easy without complex balancing. (Pixy S needs to be balanced first and calibrated after every lens change.)
lightweight and powerful
The Pixy S offers a unique combination of the Gremsy T3V3 powerful motor and the Pixy U’s compact design. The Pixy S Tilt Cage Module weighs less than 550 g (approximately 1.2 lbs) when set up with the Sony a7R, optimizing size and weight with full built-in features. IV & SEL55F18Z. The lightweight Pixy S offers 25% more flight time compared to the Gremsy T3V3 and is upgraded with a new hot shoe signal connector supported via the AUX port for precise geotagging.
The IMU sensor (inertial measurement unit) has been upgraded. The new position of the tilt cage module improves angular accuracy. A new design that can be easily attached and detached in two steps by sliding the L cage and locking the clamp.
Pixy S is designed to be user-friendly and compatible with multiple drone platforms using Pixhawk/CubePilot/Skynode, opening up a variety of drone options for commercial applications. Open SDK is enabled on Pixy S with Sony SDK and gSDK samples, enabling embedded system development for many applications.
