Red Cat Launches Teal 2: Drone for Night Operations
April 26, 2023 is the official launch date for the military technology company Red Cat HoldingsTeal 2, a new military-grade sUAS. The drone will be shown to the public for the first time at his 2023 AAAA Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit in Nashville, Tennessee. Previously limited to early adopters, Teal 2 is now available to order for military, government and commercial applications. The system is manufactured at Red Cat’s Salt Lake City facility.
Drone cargo delivery: University of Alaska builds new hangar for base of operations
Alaska’s Nenana Municipal Airport will be the site of the new 4,800-square-foot hangar. Alaska Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Center (ACUASI). The University of Alaska Board of Trustees approved his $3.3 million for the hangar. The hangar will serve as the base for drone cargo delivery test flights between Fairbanks and Nenana. The hangar provides full-time space for drone storage and equipment maintenance and testing.
