Czech Primoco UAV to provide navigation calibration system for airports
Czech UAV manufacturer Primoco UAVConcluded a contract to supply to a Malaysian company giant group Equipped with a new NAVAID calibration system. This calibration solution is utilized by the Primoco UAV One 150 UAV and can be used with various airport navigation devices such as ILS/VOR/DME/TACAN/COM as well as PAPI/VASI. GIAAN intends to use this system to carry out calibration missions at airports within the Southeast Asia region. The 3.7 million euro contract also includes the purchase of two One 150 UAVs
Mapping Paradise: Event 38 and PLACE Partners Map the Turks and Caicos Islands
mapping drone manufacturer Event 38 Unmanned System announced the successful deployment of an E400 fixed-wing mapping drone to collect aerial imagery and mapping data in the Turks and Caicos Islands, which have been unmapped for at least a decade. In just a few days, the drones collected enough data to generate an orthomosaic of both islands totaling 238 square kilometers. This project was carried out by PLACE, a global non-profit organization that grants access to mapping data by providing ultra-local and precise optical images.
