SkyDrop manufactures aircraft, supports software and launch platforms, and provides drone delivery solutions to customers around the world. The company’s delivery services provide faster and more affordable deliveries to communities while reducing traffic congestion and greenhouse gas emissions. This approval was granted by the CAA after a comprehensive review of SkyDrop’s technology and operational procedures and years of extensive testing conducted in both the United States and New Zealand. The process was aided by SkyDrop’s state-of-the-art safety technology, featuring an onboard parachute recovery system reviewed by the CAA.
In addition to CAA, SkyDrop also received approval from the Waikato District Council after meeting with local stakeholders in Raahui Pookeka (Huntley), including Waahi Paa.
