“While it is important for state, local, and federal officials to prepare a policy framework that recognizes legal realities and the expectations of their residents, it also provides a pathway through which businesses can know with certainty that they can operate at high throughput. Finding a way to have is also important. – Brent Scorpp
The increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles has spurred a new UAS framework called “Highway in the Sky”. An aerial drone highway is essentially an aerial corridor designated exclusively for unmanned aerial vehicles. The idea is that these corridors will allow drones to fly autonomously without the need for direct human oversight, allowing them to avoid other aircraft and structures within domestic airspace.
One of the main benefits of having a drone highway in the sky is that it can greatly improve the efficiency and safety of drone operations. By providing a clear and well-defined path for drones to follow, the Drone Highway reduces the risk of collisions and allows drones to fly faster and more efficiently, creating new opportunities for commercial drone use. There is a possibility. However, the concept is still in the early stages of development, with various ideas and approaches being explored by researchers, regulators, and industry players.
Brent has published several research papers on drone highways in the sky. His research covers the economic, regulatory and legal opportunities and constraints associated with Drone His Highway. In 2019 and his 2022, he published a study evaluating the regulatory environment for drones in all of his 50 states in the United States and assessing each state’s readiness to support the growth and development of the drone industry. .
