agricultural analytics provider Centella announced double 4K sensor compatibility with the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise.
Over the last few years, agricultural drone systems have become established as a viable technological solution for collecting plant-level data during key growth stages throughout the season. Traditional means of data acquisition rely on manual methods, which are often time consuming and prone to human error.
Ryan Nelson, Sentera’s Chief Mechanical Engineer, said: “Whether you are looking for an entry-level agricultural drone he system or you are upgrading an older drone, we are pleased to offer a solution that maximizes field-level insight.”
Centella D4K Sensor
Sentera’s double 4K sensor comes in four variations and seamlessly connects to the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise. The sensor’s dual cameras work in tandem with the drone’s wide-angle lens camera to enhance aerial photography for deeper insights. This captured imagery is then processed using Sentera’s data science ecosystem to map vegetation such as canopy cover, crop area, crop health, elevation and hydrology, flowering, height and lodging, residual cover, and stand count. Provides level measurements.
