AeroDefense Integrates OWL’s Radar for Layered Airspace Security Systems

Drone Detection Solution Provider Today aero defense Announced that the AirWarden™ system will be integrated Observation without limits (OWL) radar ground and airborne detection capabilities. This integration will support his OWL GroundAware® family of 2D and 3D digital beamforming radar systems that are deployed in critical infrastructure and government sectors around the world.
Certain critical infrastructure entities require a multi-layered technology approach to protect against unauthorized drones. The integration of OWL’s radar technology with the AeroDefense AirWarden RF spectrum sensing system provides a solution that can detect RF-based and wireless silent, small to large, slow to fast drones and their operators immediately when the drone is powered on. It will come true.
To meet the demands of drone detection users for maximum data to help guide security teams’ response, AirWarden’s user interface clearly displays each detection type and method in an easily identifiable manner.
“By combining the strengths of both systems, AirWarden provides correctional facility customers with an anti-smuggling platform that detects both airborne contraband deliveries by drone and ground-based contraband deliveries by people and vehicles. “It also gives utility customers an integrated platform for detecting both human and drone traffic at unprotected substations.”
“We have learned firsthand that layered security is essential for comprehensive situational awareness in drones,” said Tom Gates, president of OWL. We are pleased to offer our customers simultaneous ground coverage for detecting and tracking drone operators.”
OWL will be showcasing the new system at the exhibition in booth 11099. ISC Westis the most comprehensive security industry conference in the United States, held March 29-30 in Las Vegas.
