DeTect Announces Production of Largest and Longest Range Surveillance Radar

DeTect manufactures radar for aviation. This is to facilitate his BVLOS flight of anti-drone and drone detection, bird detection, and unmanned systems. Their latest product offers a long range solution for multiple purposes.
The BAR(TM) series radar, an X-band solid-state aviation and ocean surveillance radar, has been developed by DeTect since 2021 for extended range airspace security, beyond visual range (BVLOS) drone operations, and aircraft detection. Lighting systems (ADLS), bird monitoring, and long range coastal monitoring use cases. Radar’s first products are currently undergoing final certification testing at his DeTect R&D range in Florida. The solution is expected to be released to the market by the end of Q2 2023.
