Blake Resnick is the CEO and Founder of BRINC. BRINC designs, manufactures, and sells sUAS systems to public safety departments worldwide. The company’s flagship product, his LEMUR, employs innovative solutions designed specifically for public safety and emergency situations. Using lidar technology, the drone flies indoors with precision and unprecedented agility, and its two-way communication system allows first responders to hear and see through the drone. But this is just the beginning of what drones can do.
Blake has an innate ability to define problems, imagine new approaches, and create technology-based solutions. He began taking college courses at the age of 14, then attended the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. Prior to launching BRINC, Blake worked at McLaren Automotive, Tesla Motors and DJI. He is a member of his 2020 class of Thiel Fellowship. Under Blake’s leadership, in just two and a half years he has made BRINC a leader in public safety UAS solutions worldwide.
He is currently working on an sUAS mesh system designed to detect gunshots and respond to 911 calls within seconds. When he’s not working on product development, he’s active in recruiting, strategy development, internal communications, and fundraising.
