Ameriflight Signs Intention to Purchase Agreement with Sabrewing Air Cargo Drone Fleet

ameri flight announced signed agreements to purchase 35 of Sabrewing Aircraft CompanyVTOL air cargo drone. The contract is for the Rhaegal-A aircraft, or “Alpha,” a market-leading cargo UAV with the highest fuel efficiency and maintenance efficiency.
The purchase agreement allows Ameriflight to enter new business opportunities in fulfillment center logistics. His VTOL capabilities for aircraft carrying more than one tonne of cargo will help Ameriflight’s customers develop faster and more efficient warehouse delivery networks. This is a complementary service to Ameriflight and does not replace current operations.
“Looking ahead, the addition of this advanced aircraft to our portfolio complements our fleet and expands our portfolio of assets,” said Alan Russinowitz, president and COO of Ameriflight. “With a payload capacity of over 2,000 pounds, the Raegal-A is perfectly suited for operations in the medium lift category. SabreWing’s record-breaking technology leading to the world’s first autonomous cargo aircraft capable of both normal take-off is an incredible milestone and we are delighted to be partnering with them on this new fleet.”

Last September, the Rhaegal-A aircraft completed its first hover flight while lifting a record payload of 829 pounds. Sabrewing has now started the aircraft’s production line, with first deliveries expected in the first quarter of his 2024. Rhaegal-A aircraft use sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), reducing carbon emissions by up to 80% while maintaining full efficiency in delivering cargo. Ground-delivered he is four times faster and can land where other aircraft cannot. The new fleet will be leveraged to support new business opportunities for Ameriflight, primarily for rapid supply chain services.
This is Ameriflight’s second contract to purchase an autonomous aircraft. Signing with Nazis I purchased a Kona UAV last month. Ameriflight aims to utilize both types of fleets in conjunction with its current operations.
