Five times more energy efficient than conventional lithium battery powered drones, the lightweight H2D55 can fly for 100 minutes with a 7kg payload capacity. The H2D55 will be unveiled at his IDEX later this month.
The H2D55 is part of a planned lineup of three hydrogen-fueled drones built to address the long-term environmental impacts of lithium mining, as well as the flight endurance and payload capacity limitations of lithium battery-powered drones. The first one. Hydrogen fuel cells also reduce long-term ownership costs by eliminating the need to replace batteries on a regular basis. Future models in the product line will be released over the next nine months, improving the H2D55’s payload capacity while maintaining flight endurance.
The carbon neutral H2D product line is designed to be fully customized to your needs. Potential commercial applications range from last-mile and just-in-time (JIT) delivery, to soil nutrient level measurement and precision crop application, to collecting risk assessment data for construction companies, surveying real estate for reforestation projects, and It extends to assisting emergency responders. Life-saving equipment risk assessment and delivery. Defense applications, on the other hand, include focused surveillance missions and the supply of bulk medical aid, food and ammunition to soldiers.
The H2D55 is equipped with a control system consisting of multiple gyroscopes and supporting algorithms, greatly extending the operating limits of stable flight.
Bentzion Levinson, Founder and CEO of HevenDrones, said: “Practical drones will not only bring immense value to key sectors of our economy and society, but also reduce our carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency in general through the use of hydrogen. We are working to ensure we double this value, and the H2D55 is the first step towards achieving this vision.”
