Miriam and Tim, along with occasional guest speakers, will discuss the latest developments in the use of unmanned systems and address or investigate questions from the audience. Timothy Martin is a recently retired Police Chief with 28 years of law enforcement experience and has been the UAS Program Manager for the Huntington Beach Police Department for over five years. Tim has extensive public safety UAS experience in patrol operations, crowd control, special events, 3D mapping, and indoor tactical flight.
Tim is currently Director of UAS Training at the Los Angeles County Regional Training Center, where he leads a dedicated team of public safety UAS professionals who train hundreds of police and fire UAS teams around the world. Tim has presented at multiple of his UAS conferences on many aspects of UAS deployment, training, policy and best practices. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of DRONERESPONDERS and he is a UAS Subject Matter Expert for the International Association of Police Chiefs, Department of Justice COPS CRI-TAC program.
