He is the founder and president of the aviation consulting firm Five-Alpha (5α) and has been an infrastructure he advisor to the Vertical Flight Association since January 2019. Chairman of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 418, Standard for Heliports, Member of ASTM International F38 WK59317 New Specification for Birch Port Design, Member of Vertical Aviation Safety Team (VAST) Technical Working Group, Member of Lighting Engineering Society (IES) Airport and He is a member of the Heliport Lighting Committee, Helicopter Association International (HAI) Vertical Flight Infrastructure Sub-Working Group and serves as a Platform Instructor at the USDOT Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) where he assists in the development and implementation of their advanced rotation Heliport Evaluation Course and Heliport Accident Investigation Techniques for Wing Aircraft Accident Investigation Course. He is a graduate of his Parks College of Aviation, a former U.S. Army Warrant Officer, “Aero Scout” Helicopter He Pilot, Instructor He is a Pilot, and Standardization Instructor, both active duty and in the Indiana State Army National Guard I have worked experience.
